April 2012 is turning into a good year. This year we are adding on our Good Life Garden and on top of growing vegetables for our own use we will be selling veg and flowers at our new plot that we have taken on (lots of digging being done!!)

We are also operating a Veg Box scheme but number will be limited this year, so if your within a 15mile radius of Callow, Askeaton and interested give us a ring and we will be happy to fill you in on the details.

We are growing additonal items for sale at our stand. I'll put up more information as the season goes on.

 We will continue our popular Gardening Range including Organic Vegetable Seeds that are certified by the Soil association for the upcoming 2012 season.This range of seeds we have used ourselves over the years & can highly recommend them. As well as being Certified Organic our rang includes a number or Heirloom Varietys as well as Open Pollinated Varieties. Where we thought we needed to we do carry a range of F1 Hybrids as well.Enjoy going through this great range of seeds for 2011 & to help with getting your seeds off to a great start we carry a great and easy to use range of PH testers, Soil Thermometers and more.

All of the Gardening Tools we sell we have used ourselves for many years & can stand behind their quality, as well as this much of our Gardening Sundries such as Twine, Composting Sacks & Vegetable sacks are made from Jute and are 100% biodegradable. The Roottrainers are reusable over many years (currently ours are in use nearly 7 years).

Our Poultry section stocks:

Chicken Drinkers (Plastic and Galvanised),

Chicken Feeders (Plastic & metal).

Electric Poultry Netting and fencing supplies. We have used Electric Netting for years at Greenacre & love it mainly because we have foxes nearby & it has proved a geed deterrant.

Sundries - Leg rings, Dispatchers, Egg Boxes and more.

Our Pig section has all your piggie needs including a Pig Slapper (tattoo mark), Nipple Drinkers,

Catchers and more.

We keep pigs and home reared bacon & rashers are a completely different animal to what you buy in the shops (pun intended!!). For anyone breeding we are now stocking piglet kick start as well as a milk replacement.

We also stock Livestock Equipment for Cattle, Sheep & Goats, & Horses this range includes drinkers, hay racks, hay nets, pasture pumps,fencing and more. If there is something you need that isn't up on the website we have access to a wide range of suppliers & will be happy to help source/price any equipment you might need.

Because we grow and rear our own food, we understand how important it is to store this away for when it's out of season or not available see Kitchen Craft Section to help you process & store your food. I will also be putting up Kieran's recipie for Oatmeal Stout, Apple & Blackberry wine and more on the website..

Good Life Supplies was set up because as backyarders / smallholders ourselves we understood the need for an easy & affordable way to get the equipment you need delivered to your door.
