About us:

 We are a family of 5 and have goats, pigs, geese, chickens(lots) and grow our own vegetables, as well as using whatever comes for free (sloes, damsons etc. & whatever our lovely neighbours pass on).

As smallholders we found it difficult to source tools & information regarding keeping animals, growing vegetables and processing and preserving our food. Out of this frustration came an awareness of a need for an easy, affordable, accessable & informative resource, we decided to fill this need ourselves & Good Life Supplies was officially born. Our wee plot of land has affectionately become known as Greenacre and seeing as that is roughly what we have it's fairly appropiate.

Why We Do This:

We want to help people feed themselves healthy nutritious food that they can take pride in. They will know that the meat they are eating has led a happy, healthy life & that the vegetables they are serving up have been grown out back with little or no chemicals. If you are like us then we also love the fact that the food we eat is local and we are saving money too.

Here is where you will find Livestock Equipment, Gardening Tools, Kitchen Craft Equipment and Books for the beginner right through to the detailed. If you need anything from a Pig Slapper to Jam Jar we have it & if there is anything we don't have, we can source it for you.

Online Shop:

We have had a number of phone calls from people wanting to visit our shop, While we do keep our stock at site on Greenacre (ready to ship) we don't actually have a shop but if you want to pick up an order to save on delivery costs that is no problem, just ring us to arrange a time to call as we might be at a market or doing our own smallholding chores & we don't want to miss any callers.
